Dr. Allan J Stein
Allan J. Stein, DMD, ABDSM, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and a nationally recognized provider in craniofacial pain, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and obstructive sleep apnea. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, completed his undergraduate studies at New York University, and received his postbaccalaureate training from Columbia University.
Dr. Stein is also a member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. His clinical focus is on restoring both form and function to the head, neck, and jaw through comprehensive, evidence-based care. He is one of the few dentists in the United States utilizing ultrasound imaging to both diagnose craniofacial pain and guide targeted injection therapy. He administers ultrasound-guided prolotherapy injections, Botox®, trigger point injections, corticosteroid injections, and nerve blocks. He also uses a noninvasive, nonsurgical CO2 laser to help eliminate snoring.
